3D Modelling & Animation

Experiences

Professional

Clutterbot:

I was given the opportunity to produce in-house videos to provide context around the robot we were developing and support internal presentations. This was a solo project that involved modeling a family home environment, including a lounge, kitchen, and various assets like tables and toys. Followed by simple texturing, minor rigging using the auto-rigger, and keyframe animation for both the robot and human characters. This produced three finished in-house videos. Lighting was completed using Arnold renderer.

Software used: Autodesk Maya and Arnold Renderer.

Alongside this, I created a mockup of our ROScon event booth, using the same skillset. This served as a visual guide that shaped the final booth design on display at the event.

Tutor at Yoobee School of Design:

While this role was primarily tutoring-focused, I guided students through a short course by demonstrating techniques and sharing practical knowledge. The course covered a range of foundational skills in Maya, with a focus on animation.

Personal

Portfolio Work:

Most of my 3D work consists of personal portfolio projects and final assignments from Yoobee School of Design. While I've explored a range of skills, my focus has settled on modelling and animation, particularly environment and character modelling, which is the direction I've been looking to pursue.

Software used: Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Mudbox, Pixar's RenderMan, and Adobe Photoshop (for specific textures).

My showreel is below, with more in-depth project showcases on my Artstation profile. Modelling remains my main interest, and I'm keen to broaden my experience across both environment and character work. I also have a growing interest in animation and plan to develop that further, with areas like motion capture and combat cycles. I'm always adding to my portfolio in my own time, and I'm currently learning Unreal Engine as well.
